I already have TakealotMORE for my own shopping and work from home, so I'm usually around to receive deliveries. Send me the Takealot link(s), and I'll place your order through my TakealotMORE account, so you can piggyback on the membership's delivery perks and member deals.

Flat R20 fee

You pay the normal Takealot price for your items, plus a flat R20 fee. On a small order, that R20 replaces Takealot's normal delivery fee. It's Takealess Stress's facilitation fee, not a Takealot delivery charge, and there's no markup on the products. I use my TakealotMORE subscription, which gives me free delivery on eligible orders. You still get a completely normal Takealot order. The R20 stays the same whatever's in the basket.

No minimum spend

You don't need to reach Takealot's R750 threshold for free delivery. There's no minimum cart value here, even a single R49 item is fine. Whether your order is tiny or much larger, the Takealess Stress fee stays a flat R20.

TakealotMORE deals

TakealotMORE subscribers get access to a rotating catalogue of member-only prices. Some savings are small, others can be surprisingly substantial. You don't need your own TakealotMORE subscription to benefit; if an item has an applicable TakealotMORE price, ordering through me can get you that price. Sometimes the saving alone covers the whole R20 fee, and sometimes it leaves you better off than paying the normal Takealot price. Not guaranteed on every item, but always worth checking.

Get it fast

Some TakealotMORE items can qualify for same-day or next-day delivery, depending on the product, where the stock is located and the delivery option Takealot is showing when the order is placed. If you see a fast delivery option and need it quickly, let me know. Once you've approved the quote and payment's come through, I'll do my best to get the order placed as promptly as possible.

Once you approve the total, make the payment into my bank account. As soon as I receive proof of payment, I'll place the order.

I manually place your order

Through my own Takealot account, delivered to my address, utilising my TakealotMORE subscription benefits. I'll immediately send you confirmation following successful order placement, plus an order reference for your records.

Collect when it suits you

I'll message you the moment it arrives. Collect any time in the next couple of days. No need to rush over.

Gift vouchers & promotional codes

Gift vouchers

A gift voucher is essentially cash. I get that you might not want to hand a code to someone else, and you never have to. If you'd rather use it yourself, just place that one order through your own Takealot account instead; no hard feelings.

If you want me to apply it, just notify me that you have a gift voucher you're planning to use, along with its value, when you send me the links so I can factor the discount into your quote. You can then supply the code - or a picture of it, if that saves you typing a long string of letters and numbers - together with your proof of payment.

I'll attempt it when I place the order and send you a screenshot of exactly what Takealot said, whether it worked or not. If it fails, you can cancel for a full refund or proceed at the revised price. Simple as that.

Promotional codes

If you identify a valid promo code that you'd like me to apply to your order, please include it when sharing the product links. I'll test it against the cart and confirm whether it is valid and qualifies for your order. The outcome will be reflected in your quote.

Getting it to you

Delivery & collection

Most orders should reach me within a day or two of being placed (quicker if the stock is available in Cape Town), and I'll message you the moment they land. Please collect within a couple of days so I'm not running a warehouse out of my garage.

For large or bulky items, let's chat and make a plan together. I may be able to arrange delivery straight to your own address - potentially saving you Takealot's R250 bulky-goods delivery charge - so you can skip the awkward business of carrying a fridge down the road.

Returns

Takealot's own 30-day return policy applies to whatever you order, same as if you'd bought it yourself. I'll help you arrange the return, you just need to let me know. A few product types (things without a meaningful return option) aren't ones I'll order by default, but ask. I'm generally happy to make exceptions for people I actually know.

Why use this if my order qualifies for free delivery anyway?

Mostly convenience: collecting from a nearby, attended address beats hoping you're home when the courier comes. Still worth sending it my way if that's the bit you're solving for.

Can I order for someone else, like a gift?

Sure. Just let me know the details are correct, since I won't be able to double-check taste in gifts for you.

Is there a minimum order?

No minimum. Small orders are exactly the point.

Pricing & payment

How does the R20 fee work?

You pay the Takealot price for your items, plus one flat R20 fee per Takealot order. The fee stays the same whatever's in the basket, and it's paid upfront together with the product cost.

What if the price changes between quote and checkout?

I'll always confirm the final total with you before paying. You won't be charged more than agreed without checking first.

Can I use my own voucher?

Yes, if you're comfortable sharing it. See the Vouchers section above for exactly how that works and what evidence you'll get either way.

Delivery, collection & returns

How long can I leave my parcel before collecting?

A couple of days is ideal. Let me know if you're away. I'd rather hear that upfront than have parcels pile up.

What if something's wrong with my order?

Takealot's normal 30-day return policy applies. Tell me and I'll help arrange it.

Do you see my Takealot account?

No. This runs entirely through my own account. You never need to log into anything or share a password.
